Storm Boy Announce Debut LP Beast Machine Theory, Out January 15, 2026

Storm Boy’s growth continues with the announcement of their debut LP, Beast Machine Theory, set for release on January 15, 2026. The album features eight tracks across 33 minutes, spanning the band’s entire history—from a song dating back to the first pair Chas Roberts wrote for the project, to one that was played together for the first time the very day the band entered the studio, and a brand-new co-written track with guitarist/vocalist Charli Beaumont. Beast Machine Theory provides the sounding board for the band to step further into the future, taking their sound to new levels and reaching new audiences, as they embark on an East Coast tour through the Northeast to coincide with the album’s release.

The eight songs of Beast Machine Theory push forward Storm Boy’s vision of post-hardcore rock ’n’ roll. Drawing from the earnestness and passion of Fugazi, Nation of Ulysses, Japandroids, IDLES, and Husker Du without coming off like a nostalgia act. The record leaves space for what the band calls “ass-shakin’ and floor-quaking,” boldly declaring: “If you can’t raise a fist, move your ass.” In full acknowledgment that if the world is going to burn down around us unabated, Storm Boy intends to dance on its ashes.

Recorded over three days in August 2025, the album was engineered, mixed, and mastered by Scot Michael at Titan Recording Studio in Shoreline, Washington.
